Paypal members who have completed their PayPal Membership have the status of
"Verified." To complete their PayPal Membership, members must confirm an email
address, add a credit card, and enter their Member Number.
Now that I've added my credit card, how do I complete my PayPal Membership?
PayPal charged you a $1.95 when you first signed up.
Find that charge on your statement and next to it is a four digit number, this is your
PayPal Number. Once you have the 4 digit PayPal Member Number from your credit card
statement, you can complete your PayPal Membership from your account overview. I believe
they refund you that dollar charge once you complete the next step.
Here's How:
Go to the site
Click on the My Account tab
Click on the Complete Membership link in the 'Activate Account' box
Enter your PayPal Member Number Click Enter Number
You have successfully completed your PayPal membership and activated your account
Note It usually takes 2-3 business days for the PayPal Member
Number to appear, depending on your issuing bank. If you do not have online access to your
statement, wait until you receive your physical statement in the mail to check your 4
digit PayPal Member Number. PayPal strongly discourages users from calling their credit
card companies in order to obtain PayPal Member Numbers before receiving their monthly
statement in the mail. If PayPal receives a complaint from Visa, MasterCard, or your card
issuer regarding a phone call to your credit card company to obtain PayPal Member Numbers,
your PayPal account may be closed. |
